Pineapple Chicken


14 cup – soy sauce
2 tablespoons – sugar
1 tablespoon – vinegar
1 tablespoon – ketchup
12 teaspoon – ginger
1 tablespoon – minced garlic
1 teaspoon – cornstarch
1 lb – boneless skinless chicken breast (cut into 2 inch strips)
2 tablespoons – vegetable oil
1 can – pineapples (cut into pieces)
Hot rice to serve with

1 – egg
2 tablespoon – soy sauce
2 teaspoons – chili paste
2 tablespoons – cornstarch
salt to taste

1. Mix first 7 ingredients with reserved 1/4 cup pineapple juice in small bowl.2. Coat the chicken with the above mentioned ingredients and deep fry them in a skillet.
3. In a pan, add 2 tablespoons of oil and add the sauce (prepared in step 1)
and add the pineapple pieces. Stir for 3 minutes.
4. Add chicken and cook it till the sauce is thickened.
5. Serve with rice.
